I’m currently doing the Post- Grad Diploma in Orthodontics and I’m thoroughly enjoying the principles and techniques that Geoff is teaching. The longer style program also means you get to regularly meet other dentists and it’s honestly been so fun to have a good meal together and learn/ support each other through the confusion of biomechanics 😂.I would definitely recommend the “in-person” over online. I love learning but even in-person I find my eyes glazing after the 4th hour… for myself to do this online it would be so hard to stay focused… so for both getting the most out of the content and finding a support network of likewise dentists, in person is so good and much worth the trade off of travel expenses and time off work.I also like the business and management segments which help us better streamline treatment and make the team work efficiently for our patients.The support from Robyn is a huge highlight of the course. She is so prompt, supportive and generous with her expertise.

I attended the clear aligner course (module 4). I was deciding between orthoed and a few other companies. The reason I chose orthoed is simply because Geoff and Martin are registered orthodontists, as opposed to other courses which are run by general dentists. The sheer amount of cases and experience that Geoff and Martin have is unparalleled. I can't see any reason not to make use of that knowledge. Their presentation covers critical foundational knowledge and all the information makes logical sense. If you are looking for a course which actually tells you the WHY behind aligners, tooth movements, attachments, treatment strategies etc. this is the one to do. Even if you don't go full into aligners, this will give great insight into how pre prosthetic orthodontics or occlusion in general affects restorative treatment planning. Without having even yet done an aligner case, I feel more confident in understanding dentistry as a whole. They also give insight into business and patient management which is honestly quite contemporary and invaluable. If you are trying to decide between clear aligner courses, just ask yourself: would you prefer to learn from a specialist orthodontist or a general dentist? Martin and Geoff are both fantastic presenters and if your brain can handle all the information and knowledge they cram in, you will have a great time

If you're looking for an aligners course then OrthoED Module 4 essential aligners is the way to go. The wealth of knowledge passed on by Dr Geoff Hall and Dr Martin Poon over the 3 days was excellent. I was always engaged in the 3 long days of lectures but more importantly they delivered the information in such a way as to make us think properly about orthodontics particularly aligners. Very interactive and enjoyable.The course definitely gave me more confidence in Ortho diagnosis, planning aligner cases, troubleshooting and everything the course outline mentions. Well worth it!

An excellent investment for clinicians who want to incorporate orthodontics into their general dental practice. Very comprehensive and clinically oriented. You'll learn everything you wanted to know, and it also will bring to the fore things you didn't know were important. There are also non-orthodontic lectures from professionals and specialists which range from communication to prosthodontics.Additionally, Geoff and Robyn are both very approachable and make time in their busy schedules to assist when needed, which is great for peace of mind.
