Dr Geoffrey Hall

Head Tutor, Course Instructor

Dr Hall has an extreme passion for clinical orthodontics and orthodontic training for Dentists, specialising in adult and children treatments including early treatment, conventional adolescent therapy, short-term orthodontics (Smilefast) and cosmetic treatment options including lingual braces, Invisalign and other aligner systems, and a strong emphasis on interdisciplinary treatment, including orthognathic surgical cases.

Dr Hall has a passion for teaching and educating general dentists –having established the New Horizons Study Club and bringing the Seattle Study club to the Australian shores .In addition to being the director of OrthoED ,he still works in specialist practice and is also the founder and director of CAPS and cofounder and codirector of Clear Aligner Excellence with Dr Jess Green.

Dr Hall has been a pioneer in modern day orthodontics and education and all backed by 32 years and over 11,000 cases of orthodontic experience.

Dr Martin Poon

Course Instructor

Born in Hong Kong and raised in Melbourne, Martin completed his Bachelor of Dental Science at the University of Melbourne in 2002 and a Masters in Orthodontics and Oral Biology at the University of Pennsylvania in 2008.

Martin is approachable and friendly. We love that he brings a ‘human’ face to orthodontic treatment, making it an enjoyable experience for each person, regardless of age or their case complexity.

While completing his studies, he connected with Dr Geoff Hall at the Invisalign Centre. In addition to his Diamond Provider status he maintains with the Invisalign system, Martin is also an accomplished clinician in all other aspects of orthodontic treatment. His particular interest is in working on interdisciplinary cases with other dentists and specialists to realise the best outcomes for patients.

Robyn Wood

Course Coordinator and Clinical Support Manager

Robyn Wood gained her certificate in dental nursing at the Royal Dental Hospital of Melbourne in 1983, before becoming a certified dental assistant, teacher assistant, clinic coordinator, and today, treatment coordinator, course and clinical coordinator at The OrthoED Institute.

Mrs Wood brings four decades of clinical experience helping general dentists learn and implement treatments, create effective communication with patients and create greater efficiency in their practices.
