TX Planning Session- 28th October 2020

Welcome to this week's Treatment planning webinar

A very interesting case of a 12 year old female who presents with a missing 12 and pegshaped 22 which is protruding. She also has a full Class 2 Molar relationship on her RHS and a mild Class 2 buccal relationship on her LHS -with severely retroclined upper incisors and retroclined lower incisors

So my questions to you are

  • What are her possible treatment options -both the ideal and simple approaches
  • How are you going to obtain adequate torque and inclination of the lower incisors
  • If you were to consider removal of the 22 –how would you manage the minimal anchorage situation on her upper LHS
  • What are the issues with wearing Class3 elastics on her LHS and how can you manage the risk factors

These questions are answered in this thought provoking webinar

As always I be very interested to know how you would treatment plan this patient if they presented to your practice, and I look forward to hearing your thoughts.

I hope that you find this webinar to be enjoyable and thought-provoking and as always I value your feedback, comments, questions and hope that you can provide us with cases to discuss in the future. Please feel free to contact me geoff@orthoed.com.au
