TX Planning Session – 9th December 2020

Welcome to this week's Treatment planning webinar

A very interesting case of a 40 year old female who presents with a unilateral Class 2 buccal relationship, mild upper crowding with her 13 high and labially positioned, and severe lower crowding with her 32 displaced lingually. She has a severe dolichofacial /vertical growth pattern with mild VME and associated severe mandibular retrognathia.

So my questions to you are

  • What is the ideal treatment plan for this patient ???
  • If this patient was to undergo orthognathic surgery – how would you treatment plan this patient in preparation for surgery
  • If she refuses surgery ,what are acceptable compromised options
  • What do you need to avoid with your mechanics in this case and how can you mitigate potential risks during treatment

These questions are answered in this thought provoking webinar

As always I would be very interested to know how you would treatment plan this patient if they presented to your practice, and I look forward to hearing your thoughts.

I hope that you find this webinar to be enjoyable and thought-provoking and as always I value your feedback, comments, questions and hope that you can provide us with cases to discuss in the future. Please feel free to contact me geoff@orthoed.com.au
