Weekly Question and Answer session. May 12th 2020

In this session, I presented a 12 year old pre pubertal female with a moderate class II dental relationship and mild crowding in the upper arch.

This case really demonstrates the importance of excellent records, in particular excellent photography to be able to obtain a proper diagnosis and follow that with an appropriate treatment plan.

There was great discussion between all participants about the different approaches that could be taken to correct the class II buccal relationship and ultimately achieve a good class I canine relationship and acceptable occlusion.

This case was very interesting with the possible treatment approaches suggested, and I hope that you find the discussion to help push the boundaries of your orthodontic knowledge.
