We had another wonderful question and answer session this morning. This featured a nine-year-old boy who had a deep overbite, class 2 skeletal relationship with a class I molar occlusion. His maxillary left lateral incisor tooth was yet to erupt and he had severe crowding in his lower anterior segment with blocked out lower canine's.
Our discussion involved how to manage these issues from an early treatment perspective, whether we should be resolving this by utilising the valuable lower E space or through palatal expansion or or possibly even considering a serial extraction approach. Also there was a discussion with regards to timing of treatment, as well as how to quote for a phase I treatment plan.
