Welcome to this week's Q and A webinar
An exceptionally interesting case was discussed, involving a nine year old girl with delayed dental development and exhibiting an anterior crossbite with an associated mandibular functional shift. In addition there was significant space loss in the upper left D region, which we assume to be related to a premature loss of the upper left first deciduous molar.
Once again discussion revolved around risk analysis, and in particular the problem of causing the upper canines is to be impacted in the future.
Various treatment plans were proposed, and a lengthy discussion on the mechanics and the the pros and cons of the different possible options.
I hope that you enjoy this week's webinar – as I feel that a lot can be learnt from this particular case.
As always, I value your input and please feel free to ask me any questions, make any comments and hopefully provide cases that we can discuss in future webinars. Please feel free to email me firstname.lastname@example.org
